X-Men Relaunch: Powers of X #2
August 18, 2019 05:47 PM PDT

Dr. Detroit and Topher Matheson dissect and discuss the newest issue in the Jonathan Hickman relaunch of the X-Men line.

In this episode we delve deeper into prior continuity to discuss some of the nuances of the story and what it may mean as we go forward. We also wax poetic on one of our shared favorite characters: Cyclops (Scott Summers).

Toward the end of the episode Topher mentions a theory that blows Dr. Detroit away if it ever comes to fruition, but likely probably won’t...it was a good one though nonetheless.

Wow. That is too many. We just use this episode to talk some general pop culture nonsense, wifi bandwidth struggles, and the not so secret origins of the podcast itself.

This week Dr. Detroit and Topher Matheson discuss House of X #2 and boy is it a good one. We discuss the multiple lives (and deaths) of Moira MacTaggert and we discover that she just might be the lynchpin in this new unfolding storyline.

The story takes a lot of wild twists and turns and Topher has a hypothesis for why one of Moira’s loves isn’t discussed and it is a revelation to Dr. Detroit.

Check it out!
