In this episode we tried to start talking about the 2001 film The Cat's Meow, but we got so disgusted and distracted over the fact we learned form this film of Charlie Chaplin sleeping, and subsequently impregnating his 15 year old co-star, that we ended up having a pretty in depth conversation about these relationships, hollywood, predatory behavior, and the patriarchy.

I promise it is more fun than it sounds.

We also try a few times to start talking about our ostensible topic The Cat's Meow, but fail miserably. Though. SPOILER ALERT, we still give away plot details of that film

In the stirring conclusion (part 3 of 3) of our reviewing individual episodes of our favorite television shows we discuss Reba season 6 episode 5 "The Break-Up"

I don't care what anyone says this is the best TV theme song since Growing Pains:

I was born three months too early
The doctor gave me thirty days
But I must have had my mama's will
And Gods amazing grace
I guess I'll keep on livin'
Even if this loves to die for
'Cause your bags are packed and I ain't cryin'
You're walking out and I'm not trying
To change your mind cause I was born to be
The baby girl without a chance
A victim of circumstance
The one who ought a give up, but she's just
Too hard headed!
A single mom who works two jobs
Who loves her kids and never stops
With gentle hands and a heart of a fighter
I'm a survivor

I always include the source of my artwork here when it is not just a studio publicity still, but be warned this is a link to an entire page someone made of .gifs of Barbara Jean in her Cheerleader outfit, so I really, really worry they made these .gifs just to jerk off to.

Now that I've made the easy dumb joke, I should note the tumblr page I got that .gif from belongs to a woman.

Her art store is listed in second link below, she is really talented. She's got some cool drawings of Matt Smith (the best Doctor, fight me), Beyonce, Ghostbusters). Not that woman can't masturabate to Barabra Jean, i just didn't want to unnecessarily libel a random creator of .gifs in the name of sex jokes.

Not everyone on the internet is a pervert, just because the people who bring you this podcast are big grin

Dr. Detroit had the excellent idea that we start picking a classic movie from out of our 1980's to today comfort zone once a month to review,

so welcome to the first edition of Thor's Classic Cinema. or as I am hereafter calling it Thor's Clasdick Cinema. (We may be reviewing a Cary Grant & Rosalind Russell film full of amazing verbal barbs, but that doesn't me the conversation doesn't involve our usual asides of dick jokes and tangents about 90's music.

So enjoy us being as trashy as ever talking about this classy film.
